Board Vice-President Russ Garner raised questions about Item 6.G, the order calling the general election of trustees, and suggested the board consider changing elected trustee terms from three years to four to improve continuity for district leadership. Garner said the change would not affect the two single-member district seats up for election this May (SMD3 and SMD4) but would provide what he described as added stability for the superintendent and executive cabinet.
