Devine ISD board elects officers, forms committees
After closed-session deliberations, the Devine ISD Board on May 19 unanimously approved Nancy Pepper as president, Henry Moreno as vice president and Keri James as secretary, and named members for governance, facilities, audit and policy committees.

The Devine ISD Board of Trustees reorganized its leadership at the May 19 regular meeting. Henry Moreno moved to nominate Nancy Pepper for board president; the motion, seconded by Alixana Buvinghausen, "Passed. Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1." Trustees also approved Henry Moreno as vice-president and Keri James as secretary in subsequent motions, each passing unanimously among the voting members present.
