Ector County ISD trustees heard a detailed progress report on the district's Bond 2023 program on Aug. 19, with Associate Superintendent Dr. Anthony Sorola and CFO Albessa Chavez laying out construction and procurement milestones. The board was told the new West Odessa middle school is approximately 21% complete, building pads for the Career & Technical Education center are nearly finished, and the district has spent about $51 million to date with an additional $199 million encumbered through requisitions.
