The Douglas County Extension Education & Recycling Committee voted Aug. 19, 2026, to approve the 2027 Extension Department budget proposal as presented and referred it to the Administration Committee for further review. The motion was moved by Mike Streveler and seconded by Sue Hendrickson; minutes record that "to approve 2027 Extension budget proposal as presented and refer to Administration Committee." The motion carried.
