Commissioners approve CDBG application and adopt Section 504 and Fair Housing resolutions
At a CDBG final hearing, county staff and SEDA COG coordinator presented a grant application; commissioners adopted Resolution 4 (Section 504 compliance officer), Resolution 5 (Fair Housing) citing Title VIII and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, and Resolution 6 authorizing submission of a CDBG application to the state. Michelle Koslap, SEDA COG Project Coordinator, met with the Fulton County commissioners for a final hearing on the FFY 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application and related resolutions. The board approved three separate resolutions: Resolution 4 of 2026 appointing Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives as the county's Section 504 Compliance Officer and adopting a grievance procedure for accessibility complaints; Resolution 5 of 2026, a Fair Housing Resolution that cites Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and prohibits discrimination in housing transactions; and Resolution 6 of 2026 authorizing submission of a CDBG application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
