Derek (S6) briefed the commission on the annual mowing bid and the interplay with recent herbicide spraying. He said the contractor approved under the annual bid could begin mowing when the spraying window allowed and that county crews have limited capacity at present. "...go ahead and contract or get approval to to issue a PO for mowing, countywide mowing," Derek said, recommending contracting to meet timing demands.
