Planning panel tables Warnke rezoning request for Ann Lake property
The Sherburne County Planning Advisory Commission opened a public hearing on July 16 over a request to rezone two parcels on Ann Lake from General Rural to Shoreland Residential, then voted to table the item after the applicant signed a 60-day waiver extending the decision deadline to Oct. 30, 2026. The Sherburne County Planning Advisory Commission on July 16 opened a public hearing on a request by Heidi Warnke to rezone two parcels on Ann Lake (PID 35-00015-3110 and 35-00408-0205; 10.43 acres) from General Rural to Shoreland Residential. Senior Planner Mitch Glines presented the application and packet materials, and noted the county’s 2030–2050 Comprehensive Plan already identifies the parcel as Shoreland Residential and that the Minnesota DNR Division of Forestry had "no objections" to the proposal.
