The full story
Town staff reported progress on multiple grant-funded infrastructure projects. The CDBG-DR sewer project is substantially complete, with only final verification of the wastewater-treatment-plant generator transfer switch remaining. FloridaCommerce approved the Town's contractor procurement for the CDBG-NR repaving project and a pre-construction meeting is scheduled for May 28, 2026. The MSCOP Side Street Paving project engineer submitted 60% plans to FDOT, and a grant-extension request will be filed to match construction timing. For the USDA ECWAG water well, the Town's share of costs has been paid and USDA released the final contractor payment; outstanding SCADA issues remain under review before final closeout.
