Smith County accepts conditional $43,840 bid for pier work on 140 Road bridge
Smith County Commissioners accepted L & M Construction's $43,840 bid to construct piers for the 140 Road bridge between E Road and F Road on the condition that existing stringers can be reused; the motion carried unanimously.

County project manager Jordan Dettmer opened bids for pier construction on the bridge at 140 Road between E Road and F Road. Bids were: Reece Construction $72,933.32 and L & M Construction $43,840.00; Dettmer said his internal estimate for the project was $56,500.00.
