The Marfa ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the compensation plan for the 2026–2027 school year during its July 20, 2026 meeting. Board Member Teresa Nunez moved to approve the plan and Board Vice President Jay Foster seconded; the motion carried 6–0.
