Dr. Brooks, who co-facilitated the technology committee, presented a draft framework developed by a 50-member committee of staff, parents, community members and principals aimed at delivering "balanced, intentional and developmentally appropriate" technology use across Coppell ISD. The committee divided its work into four areas: screen time, digital literacy, social-emotional well-being, and online safety and security.
