Echols County workshop rejects internet for concession stand, explores ticket booth with school system
At an Aug. 20 workshop the Echols County Board of Commissioners agreed internet service is unnecessary for the concession stand and directed County Manager Alan Levesque to meet with the Echols County Board of Education about sharing construction costs for a proposed ballfield ticket booth.

The Echols County Board of Commissioners discussed internet access and a new ticket booth for the county ballfield at a workshop on Aug. 20, 2026. Commissioners concluded that providing internet service to the concession stand is not necessary at this time and did not move to implement service.
