County contracts engineering services for three public landings using MD DNR grants
The Board authorized contracting George, Miles & Buhr, LLC (Salisbury) for engineering services at Kent Narrows Landing, Thompson Creek Landing, and Matapeake Boat Ramp for $97,810, to be funded by MD DNR Waterway Improvement Fund grants.

James Wood, Public Landings Supervisor, reported four bids were received for engineering services for three projects: Kent Narrows Landing bulkhead replacement, Thompson Creek Landing bulkhead replacement and Matapeake Boat Ramp replacement. Staff recommended awarding the contract to George, Miles & Buhr, LLC of Salisbury for a total of $97,810. The Board unanimously authorized the Department of Parks and Recreation to contract with that firm and noted the projects will be funded with MD DNR Waterway Improvement Fund grants.
