County staff presented proposed amendments to Chapter 18 of the Charlotte County Code to clarify appeals-board member selection, terms, vacancies, compensation, and to establish application fees. Staff recommended a $300 application fee for Building Code Appeals (BCA) to cover member compensation and administrative costs and suggested $30 per meeting compensation for boards such as the BZA and Planning Commission.
