The Commissioners' Court accepted a package of monetary donations to the Lavaca County Sheriff's Office on July 14, 2026. Donors listed included RBO Technologies, LLC; Pro Field Services, Inc. (Jess Davenport); Fenner Land Services, LLC (James Fenner); Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home; and Gary and Becky Cooper. Sheriff Greenwell and Neely Yackel spoke to the item and the court approved acceptance by a 5-0 vote (Court Order 20074).
