Sweeny ISD trustees unanimously select PBK Architects for bond construction projects
The Sweeny ISD Board of Trustees voted 7–0 Aug. 13 to select PBK Architects to design and administer bond construction projects that include a new football stadium, fieldhouse renovations and upgrades to five campus gymnasiums; the board authorized the superintendent to negotiate the contract.

Trustee Brittanie Hopkins moved and Trustee Donna Bohlar-Schroeder seconded a motion to select PBK Architects to provide design and construction administration services for Sweeny ISD’s bond construction projects. The projects listed in the motion include a football stadium, bleachers, lighting, a press box, a fieldhouse, new lockers and renovations to five campus gymnasiums. The board voted unanimously, 7–0, to approve the selection and to authorize the superintendent to negotiate a contract under Texas Government Code §2254.004(b).
