Commission finds small West Railroad parcel consistent with general plan
The commission found a 7,501 sq ft parcel (APN 056126040) consistent with the general plan and land use policies for regional public recreation and voted to approve the general plan conformance determination under Government Code section 65402.

Anna Gupta of the city attorneys office presented a general plan conformance determination for a 7,501‑square‑foot parcel in the West Railroad plan area that the city council recently approved for acquisition. Gupta said the parcel is designated for regional public recreation under the local coastal land use plan and that policy 2‑21 prioritizes public acquisition for habitat protection, scenic values and drainage control.
