Provost details AI integration into USNA curriculum and computing plans

Provost Dr. Firebaugh told the Board USNA has organized its AI integration around policy and governance, faculty and staff development, and computing resources. She described a pilot framework for AI use by class and assignment, multi-day AI workshops at the Stockdale Center that trained nearly 100 faculty and staff to date, faculty-built course chatbots, and plans to seek limited access to an NVIDIA GPU cluster at the Naval Postgraduate School as a bridging solution while building in-house capacity.
