Contractor reports steady progress on Charles Town pool and concession project
Contractor and staff said demolition and masonry are complete and roof framing is starting; unforeseen conditions (missing foundation, an extra pool layer) produced change orders totaling about $20,000 so far. Staff and the board plan a site walk next Monday.

Sam Rich, the project contact, told the Charles Town Board of Parks and Recreation the demolition and much of the interior masonry and plumbing for the pool and concession renovation are finished and that roof framing and trusses were arriving this week. He said contractors are 'moving forward' and scheduled a public progress walk Monday at 11:00.
