Task force sets schedule: collect data, run scenarios and aim to submit nonbinding plan to DLGF

The group agreed to collect baseline tax and fire data, run scenario modeling and meet again before the Nov. 1/2 reporting window; Baker Tilly advised meeting every 1-2 weeks to crystallize a plan that DLGF will forward to the legislative council by Dec. 1.

Paige Sansone with Baker Tilly urged a rapid meeting cadence and recommended 3-4 meetings to reach a documented plan, noting that DLGF would like plans no later than Nov. 2 and that those plans will be forwarded to the legislative council by Dec. 1. The task force chair asked participants to route data and questions through Linda Pruitt in the county auditor's office so the consultant team can build baseline scenarios.
