The Oak Ridge City Council approved an On-Site Sewage Facility (OSSF) variance for Riverside after Chris Duckworth said a sprinkler at 2467 Blackjack Oak "will spray in drainage easement." The motion passed unanimously among members present; one councilor was absent.

The Oak Ridge City Council on March 24, 2025 approved an On-Site Sewage Facility (OSSF) variance requested by Riverside. Chris Duckworth explained the concern that a sprinkler at 2467 Blackjack Oak "will spray in drainage easement" and said Riverside "will work diligently to prevent this in the future." Scherri Holmes moved to approve the variance and Janelle Davis seconded; the motion carried with all council members present voting in favor (Council Member Nena Langford was absent).
