Animal control building construction advances; MOU with cat rescue pulled for revision
Sheriff's office reported footings are in and building structure is arriving for a new Animal Control facility, while a memorandum-of-understanding with Cats of West Central Illinois was pulled for further corrections after legal review.

Chief Deputy Sheriff Tipsword updated the board on the Animal Control building and related contracting. He said footings are in the ground and much of the building materials are on site and predicted a building standing on the site within weeks.
