The Cayuga County Legislature on July 28 adopted a local law extending the county's authorization to use videoconferencing for public meetings until July 15, 2028. The measure passed after a public hearing that opened at 6:00 PM and was closed by Chair Jonathan Anna at 7:33 PM; the adoption vote was moved by Brian Muldrow and seconded by Elane Daly and passed with Legislator Vitale recorded as opposed.
