The Montrose R-XIV Board accepted a sole milk bid from Hiland Dairy for the 2026–2027 school year after the district noted its rural location limited vendor responses. The minutes state that reasonable efforts were made to obtain competitive pricing; Mrs. Steward moved to accept the bid and the motion carried 6-0.
