Wagoner County commissioners on Aug. 10 tabled a proposal from District Attorney Jack Thorp asking the county to contribute $55,000 for the district’s civil legal representation and legal research support for fiscal year 2027. The proposal cited state statutes 19 O.S. §§ 215.25 and 215.36 and would have taken effect beginning July 1, 2026.
