A video prepared by Riverside County and shown during the Lake County briefing warned that CWS CARES is not ready for live child-protection work. The presenters said Riverside County handles more than 65,000 hotline calls and 22,000 investigations annually and told the board there is no realistic path for the platform to be ready by the scheduled launch.
