District reports SFWMD and VOE approvals; drainage bid documents ready

Charlie Krebs reported that the drainage improvements project has been approved by the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and that construction permits were approved by the Village of Estero; bid documents have been finalized and are available for contractors to pick up. The Board discussed advertising the project, the bid opening meeting, a mandatory pre‑construction meeting, project start timing and hurricane/flood prevention goals.
