Council introduces ordinance limiting front-yard parking, sets Aug. 19 public hearing

At its July 15 meeting the Borough Council introduced Ordinance 2026-19 to amend Chapter 3-6 by adding Section 3-6.6 (Vehicle Storage and Parking Regulations). The ordinance defines paved and unpaved surfaces, prohibits parking or storage of vehicles on unpaved front-yard areas between the street line and the front building line, and permits enforcement by the Zoning Officer, Code Enforcement Officer and Police Department.
