WWTP operator resigns; council accepts resignation and will advertise full‑time opening

Council accepted the resignation of David Garrett from his full‑time position at the borough's Wastewater Treatment Plant after Garrett accepted a position at another treatment facility with a two‑on/two‑off schedule. Manager Michael Hart said Garrett indicated willingness to remain available to the borough on a per‑diem basis after completing initial training at his new post. Council approved retaining Garrett as a per‑diem employee at his current hourly rate without overtime or benefits.
