Developers seek smaller lots; public hearing held on minimum-lot-size change

A public hearing at 6:42 p.m. on Feb. 3 opened on a proposed amendment to the Village of Denton 2007 Zoning Ordinance §5.07.06 to reduce minimum single-family detached lot size from 12,000 square feet to 11,000 square feet. Developers Tim Aschoff and William Jefferies told trustees the smaller minimum would let them fit more lots into the parcel under consideration.
