Michael Khan, owner of Eagle Distribution LLC, asked the council for a conditional use permit to operate limited gunsmithing equipment — a curing oven and an air compressor — at a mixed-use site off Parkinson and Dunyon. Planning staff Haley Durham explained the property is zoned for flex space but the specific equipment proposed triggers the industrial custom/limited designation, which is why a CUP is required. Khan said the work would be occasional and described security measures including surveillance cameras and alarms.
