Northwoods Transit wins conditional approval to borrow from county transit trust to buy two buses
The ADRC committee approved a request allowing Northwoods Transit to borrow from the county 85.21 Transit Trust Account to pay for two new buses, contingent on Wisconsin Department of Transportation approval; staff said the trust would be repaid once grant funds arrive.

Ms. Barb Newman, representing the Northwoods Transit update, told the committee that "ridership was down for June, but this happens every year at this time," and that the operator's grants have been approved so it can repair one older bus and buy two new buses.
