The Lewiston Planning Board unanimously approved a shoreland zoning permit for 5 Loon Drive on Aug. 24, allowing owner Austin Gregory to remove and reconstruct a failing rear portion of the house and add a 120-square-foot screened porch. The board voted in three separate motions: to find the application complete, to find the proposal meets shoreland and road setbacks to the greatest practicable extent, and to approve the permit with two conditions attached.
