Rep. Manwaring (District 29) introduced S 1272 as a cleanup measure aimed at removing or revising obsolete provisions in Idaho statutes affecting transportation. He said the DOGE Task Force reviewed statutes against the criteria of ‘‘obsolete, outdated, and unnecessary’’ and identified eleven sections to be repealed or updated, listing Sections 21‑121; 40‑1207; 40‑2314; 49‑420E; 49‑420L; 49‑420N; 49‑420O; 49‑420P; 49‑402; 49‑406; and 49‑406A.
