Code Commission approves three-year extension of LexisNexis publishing contract
The commission approved extending its publishing contract with LexisNexis for three years; Director Amigo R. Wade said the current contract expires Aug. 31, 2026, and that the extension carries no cost to the commission or Division of Legislative Services. Christopher R. Nolen recorded an abstention on the motion.

Amigo R. Wade, Director of the Division of Legislative Services, informed the commission that the LexisNexis contract to publish the Code of Virginia was last extended in 2019 and is set to expire August 31, 2026. Wade recommended a three‑year extension; he told commissioners the publication arrangement costs the commission and DLS nothing.
