Code Commission adopts electronic meeting policy effective July 1, 2026
The Virginia Code Commission approved an electronic meeting policy under § 2.2-3708.3 of the Code of Virginia to govern remote participation, to take effect July 1, 2026. The policy was approved unanimously at the June 3 meeting.

The Virginia Code Commission voted June 3 to adopt a new electronic meeting policy under § 2.2-3708.3 of the Code of Virginia, establishing procedures for remote participation beginning July 1, 2026. Holly Trice, Registrar of Regulations, presented the policy and the motion to adopt it was made, seconded, and passed unanimously.
