County to terminate Jacob Nelson farm lease after current harvest
The Board decided to terminate the rental agreement with the Dallas County Conservation Board for two parcels currently farmed (previously considered for a mitigation bank). The lease will end following the completion of the current harvest; the chair was authorized to sign the termination letter.

The Board discussed two county-owned parcels rented for farming that had been considered earlier for a mitigation bank. After determining the mitigation bank is no longer needed, the Board agreed to terminate the rental agreement with the Dallas County Conservation Board when the current harvest is complete.
