The Jan. 23 agenda lists an executive/closed session under the Texas Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq.) for personnel matters and the superintendent's evaluation (8.A–8.B). The Board Secretary read the agenda lines invoking the statute and noted that "all final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open session."
