Commissioners weigh adopting countywide transportation framework now or after multi-jurisdictional review
After a multi-hour presentation of the Countywide Transportation Master Plan, county and municipal officials urged the Board of County Commissioners to receive the CTMP but delay formal adoption until IPARK 2.0 and MCFEC complete technical reviews and a collaborative implementation plan.

Palm Beach County commissioners spent the bulk of the session on the Countywide Transportation Master Plan (CTMP), a draft framework that compiles roughly 2,000 candidate projects and identifies 21 "high-need corridors" to guide investment through 2050. Thuy Schutt of the county planning division said the CTMP is intended "to establish a framework for a planning horizon up to 2050 for a safer, more efficient, and connected modal transportation system."
