City staff recommended awarding an IT services contract to RevTech Services for cybersecurity and information-technology support in the amount of $338,596.88. Summer explained the city issued an RFP because the prior contract no longer matched operational and security needs; the previous provider had proposed a fee increase without expanded services. "The RFP gave us an opportunity to clearly define what service we were expecting and the level of support the city needs going forward," Summer said.
