Douglass Township recorded its July 6, 2026 withdrawal from the Pottstown Metro Regional Planning Commission and will remain a member through July 6, 2027; public comment noted the Robert Blue property is under agreement for a new 55+ Cobblestone Village project, and Holly Road subdivision remains pending NPDES and traffic revisions.

The planning agency recorded that Douglass Township withdrew from the Pottstown Metro Regional Planning Commission (PMRPC) on July 6, 2026; staff noted the township will remain a member through July 6, 2027 during the one-year transition period. West Pottsgrove also withdrew from the PMRPC, according to the minutes.
