The Paradise ISD Board approved low‑attendance waivers May 18 covering three dates in the 2025–26 school year: Feb. 9–11 for the Junior High, May 11 for the High School, and Nov. 21 for the District. Trustee Renea Remmele moved the approval and Trustee Scott Cox seconded; the vote was unanimous, 7–0.
