Students flag ADA and accessible-parking layout gaps in Monroe central square
The team identified four van-accessible stalls in the central square that do not meet 2010 ADA access‑aisle layout requirements and recommended removing van-specific plaques on those noncompliant spaces while retaining accessible stalls overall; they also flagged Lot 11A and Lot 15D as needing additional accessible stalls.

The UW–Platteville team reviewed the study area for compliance with the 2010 ADA parking standards and reported several shortfalls. "Lot 11A lacks the standard accessible stalls" and "Lot 15D currently does not have any accessible parking stalls," the team said, and recommended the city add an additional two accessible stalls in Lot 11A and a van‑accessible stall in Lot 15D to meet current standards.
