The committee recorded that Lansdowne’s designation as a Tree City has been renewed, crediting Shade Tree Commission planting and education efforts. Members announced Arbor Day will be observed Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. in Sycamore Park; the Shade Tree Commission provided guidance on where to spread a large delivery of woodchips and Parks & Recreation said it intends to complete spreading by the 24th.
