The Cleveland Independent School District Board of Trustees held a public hearing July 21 to present the district’s intent to apply for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) grant for the 2025–2026 school year. Katherine Anderson presented the district’s plan during the hearing; Jerome Washington addressed the board in support of the application.
