Residents point out error, offer free-tree partnership during Dundee comprehensive plan hearing
At a Sept. 23 public hearing on Dundee’s Comprehensive Plan, residents urged corrections to a community-group name and proposed a forester partnership to secure free trees; the plan’s steering committee asked trustees to use the plan regularly when making Village decisions.

The Village of Dundee opened a public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan at 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 23, 2025, where residents raised edits and partnership ideas for the plan. Fran Willis told the board that the name of the "Dundee Bloomers" was listed incorrectly in the document and proposed that the Village connect with a forester, through Paul Paradine, to obtain free trees and a planting plan; Willis said the Dundee Bloomers are currently receiving four trees for the bump-outs. Willis also said she and Caryl Sutterby serve as Climate Smart Stewards for the Village of Dundee.
