Dinosaur seeks RTAP assistance to ready community projects for future grants

Town staff told the council the Town of Dinosaur submitted an application to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) Rural Technical Assistance Program (RTAP) by the Aug. 7 deadline to secure technical assistance rather than construction funding. "The application seeks technical assistance rather than direct construction funding and is intended to help prepare projects for future grant opportunities." Priority projects noted include a community center/outdoor recreation concept, sidewalks, water-system hardening/security and utility infrastructure needs.
