The Chester Select Board unanimously appointed Varsha Hart to the Open Space Committee. Committee members said PVPC facilitator Amy Kaplan will help pursue a Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition Grant and estimates a nine-month timeline to complete an Open Space Plan.

The Chester Select Board appointed Varsha Hart to the Open Space Committee during its Aug. 10 meeting. Brian Forgue, chair of the Select Board, moved the appointment and Jill Strong, vice chair, seconded; the motion passed 2-0.
