Senator David Wilson said SB74 will allow Alaska to participate in an interstate licensure compact for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, speeding licensure decisions and helping understaffed areas get providers into practice faster. He thanked national coordinators, the Department of Commerce staff and professional associations for testimony and technical work on the measure.
