Oldham County TRC reviews two development proposals; makes technical requests, no decisions

The Oldham County Technical Review Committee heard presentations on two development proposals and provided detailed technical comments; the TRC does not make final decisions but issues checklist and infrastructure requests ahead of planning commission review.

Ryan Fisher, director of Oldham County Planning, opened the meeting and reminded attendees that "No testimony in favor or against an application will be taken at this meeting, and there are no decisions that are made at this meeting." The meeting covered Glenview Partners’ request to enable two large warehouse buildings on a 66.8-acre site and Westcott Development’s request to rezone frontage to C-2 for commercial outlots. Staff asked the applicants for plan corrections, construction cross-sections, utility coordination, traffic and sanitary studies, and recorded maintenance agreements for stormwater infrastructure.

Both cases will return to the planning commission with revised materials; the TRC will provide written comments to the applicants and expects to receive a traffic impact study for at least the Glenview project before that hearing. The meeting adjourned at 01:36.
